MOMOLAND will remain intact, MLD Entertainment assured after Yeonwoo stated that she would not be leaving MOMOLAND despite reports that she is shopping around for a solo career.

According to a report by Soompi, Yeonwoo personally made an address to Merrys, the official fandom of MOMOLAND and assured fans that she would stay as a member of the group. She also made clarifications about speculations on her social media posts that caused alarm among MOMOLAND supporters.

In her statement, Yeonwoo confirmed that she would be starring in a drama but apologized that she could not share too many details about the project in preparation for her role. She also clarified that the images she uploaded were more of a personal nature and not a professional move that some fans have taken as a sign of her imminent departure from MOMOLAND.

"I couldn't talk about my schedule so recklessly, so I was silently making preparations to show a good image of myself. As that time grew longer; however, I think that created a great misunderstanding to Merry's and the public," MOMOLAND's Yeonwoo explained through her statement.

Yeonwoo also assured that she would be staying as a member of MOMOLAND for a long time and have no plans of leaving. She also updated Merrys inquiring about her health and said that she is doing her best to stay physically fit so that she can show her best self in future performances.

Meanwhile, MOMOLAND's agency, MLD Entertainment has threatened to take legal action against malicious commenters on social media and announced that they had employed Wonjin Law Firm to file charges against derogatory statements against MOMOLAND members, BT reported.

According to MLD Entertainment, they have been working together with fans who have reported obscene and malicious comments about MOMOLAND online through various social media platforms, threads, and comments. Some have even posted fake news and rumors against the group's members.

It can be recalled that police arrested a male member of the audience at the MOMOLAND concert in Mexico after he was found to be masturbating in public. MOMOLAND members also reportedly suffered from sexual harassment when rude fans at the VIP meet and greet of the same event slung sexual slurs and obscene statements at the members.

The agency and the organizers have not yet addressed these reports from a fan who shared the details of the incident on Twitter, leading Merrys to make the post viral and call for justice for what MOMOLAND members were subjected to.
