Hulu has dropped the new episode's trailer, teasing the hanging's aftermath and giving a glimpse to Aunt Lydia's (Ann Dowd) past. Fans are about to know more about the Rachel and Leah Center's teacher and see what's next for June (Elisabeth Moss) after her risky move to find Hannah (Jordana Blake).

The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 Episode 8 will continue the events of the previous episode, "Under his Eye." After the handmaids hanged Martha (Ordena Stephens), the aftermath of what happened would be seen in "Unfit," per Express.

In the trailer, everything will start with a dramatic shot of June, holding the women of Gilead's signature red umbrella. "And Hannah my daughter is gone because of her," she said as the scene cut to an image of Ofmathew (Ashleigh LaThrop) looking terrified.

To recall, in Episode 7, Ofmathew revealed to Aunt Lydia that she heard Martha was trying to help June to see her daughter. Her move led to an unfortunate event that forced the handmaids to pull the rope and punish Martha by hanging.

Aside from the aftermath of Martha's sad fate, fans will have a glimpse of Aunt Lydia's past in The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 Episode 8. For the first time, viewers will finally see her backstory, revealing the truth about what she has been through.

In one scene, she is seen having the time of her life at a concert before Gilead was founded. The sequence is then cut to the present day, where the handmaids are sitting in a circle, surrounding June. They are accusing her as the one who is responsible for Martha's hanging.

"And who's fault is it that the Martha died?" Aunt Lydia asked while the handmaids are chanting "her fault" and "sinner" toward June. In other The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 Episode 8 events, a handmaid will finally take a stand against a soldier after a dead body is seen lying in a grocery store, while she is dancing around him.

Later, Aunt Lydia told June she shouldn't be a cry baby. The trailer then ends with another flashback, when she smashes the mirror with her bare hands.

From the looks of it, fans are about to see more about Aunty Lydia's past in "Unfit" and the reason behind her strict, brutal, and oppressive attitude as the leader of the handmaids. The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 Episode 8 is due for release on Wednesday, July 10, on Hulu.
