While fans may be looking for red flags in Jed Wyatt's hometown date with Hannah in The Bachelorette, it would seem that they are treating Hannah in the opposite way that fans expect. They expressed reservations about Hannah and Jed's relationship and want to protect Jed against her.

Based on a report by ET Online, the Hometown dates became an interesting point for many The Bachelorette fans because of rumors that Jed would be Hannah's final choice at the end of the show. The interest was fanned by the exposing of Jed's ex-girlfriend that they were still together when he signed up for the reality show and that he only became a contestant because he wanted to further his music career.

Some fans were shocked over this revelation and were curious to see what Jed's family knew about the existence of Jed's former flame. As the Hometown Week episode wore on, it became clear that there was going to be more drama when Jed finally introduces Hannah to his family.

While at first, it seemed that Jed was excited to show Hannah his hometown of Knoxville, Tenessee and shared how he developed his passion for music, members of his family had a chance to get to know Hannah and corner her for a heart to heart.

Jed had an important talk with his dad during Hannah's visit. According to The Bachelorette contestant, he is already falling in love with Hannah. However, his dad expressed reservations about what their relationship would mean for his music career. Jed assured him that Hannah is quite supportive.

Jed's mom was also less than warm to Hannah during her hometown visit, and when Hannah tried to fish for clues about Jed's ex-girlfriend, his mom seemed very defensive and said that she didn't think that Jed was ready to get engaged. She further said that his path was very different. She even tells her son at one point in the episode that she thinks his feelings for her are crazy, given that it's the first time she met The Bachelorette.

Jed's sister Lily felt the same way as his mom and said that she is worried that his feelings for Hannah may get in the way of his dream of succeeding in music.

At the end of the night, even Hannah is having second guesses about his relationship with Jed. "My fear is either our relationship or his music will suffer... I need more time to really think about this relationship and where it will go from here," she said.

By the episode's ending, all four contestants remained intact, and now, fans are more curious to see how Hannah will decide on her Final 3. The Bachelorette airs on ABC every Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT,
