WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Euphoria season 1 episode 5. Read at your own risk.

Euphoria season 1 episode 5 is arriving later this week, and there are a lot of intriguing issues that need to be explored from here. But aside from that, it was reported that the forthcoming episode, titled "'03 Bonnie and Clyde," will be directed by former Once Upon a Time actress Jennifer Morrison.

While this isn't the first directorial effort in Morrison's career, this is the first time to direct an episode within an episodic television. What's exciting about her stepping in as a director is that she would put her stamp on the show that gives viewers discussion-worthy topics.

For instance, Euphoria season 1 episode 5 will possibly explore trauma, relationships, lifestyle changes, as we as sobriety. Also, the series has become interesting to some viewers since it highlights the real struggles among several people - particularly teens - in today's society.

In the synopsis of Euphoria season 1 episode 5, Nate and Maddy were forced to deal with a police investigation after what happened at the carnival. Jules has started to feel the pressure, specifically with her role regarding Rue's sobriety.

Kat is ignoring Ethan, who seems to be confused, and embraced her new lifestyle. Cassie is trying to distance herself from Daniel, and she wants to focus more on McKay and their relationship. Cal, on the other hand, started to worry about his actions as he felt it had affected his sons.

Going back to episode 4, Rue has tried her best to be sober for Jules. Also, an unexpected reunion happened as Jules saw Cal - Nate's father - with his family. But, the shocking happening within this episode is that Tyler revealed himself to Jules - he's Nate and threatened her.

In the upcoming episode, viewers will have the chance to see these characters coping with some of the relevant issues in reality today. Perhaps, the police investigation could probably be one of the highlights of the upcoming episode; something that many young people aren't aware of how they could deal with it.

Also, some of the characters' struggles might only increase as the show goes by, and that things could get worse before they could even get better. It would also be nice if they'll eventually find someone they could lean on or someone that could at least help them.

Euphoria season 1 episode 5 will air on Sunday, July 14, on HBO. The show can also be watched online, such as on HBO Now and HBO Go, as well as on other streaming services including DirecTV Now, Sling, Roku, and Hulu.
