There have been lots of speculation about how the love story between President Donald Trump and his First Lady, Melania Trump, started out. It seems a lot of different rumors and stories about how the couple came to be, have been flying around. One rumor actually involves a man who claims that he allegedly introduced the two and pushed for them to become a couple.
Jeffrey Epstein, 66, reportedly claims that he was the one who made the Trump couple happen. Epstein, who was arrested for trafficking charges in New York, attests that he was responsible for introducing Melania to Donald and had pushed them together the whole night until they eventually started exchanging numbers and going out.
However, this story was disregarded by the couple. The two have their own story of what went down the night they met, and it surprisingly had nothing to do with Epstein.
Years before she became the First Lady of the United States of America, Melania arrived to New York like any other aspiring model with big plans and dreams. The Slovenian beauty then landed a lot of callbacks and eventually became one of New York City's most elite models.
With her gorgeous features and mile-long legs, Melania soon started to walk for some of the major fashion names in the industry such as Michael Kors and Calvin Klein. She also spent most of her nights in the after-parties that contained the city's most important people. It was at one of those parties that she claimed to have come across the real estate tycoon, Donald Trump.
Donald had arrived at the party with another woman but reportedly could not keep his eyes off the Slovenian model. And while his date went to the bathroom, he walked up to Melania and asked for her number.
However, upon being asked for her contact information, Melania had turned him down and insisted that she would get his number instead. And Donald jokingly gave all of his numbers including his own personal cell number, his office telephone, and one number for each of his other offices and hotel resort receptions. At the time, Donald was in the process of divorcing his second wife, Marla Maples.
After a few days, Melania eventually called him up, and the two spent their first date at a nightclub in Greenwich Village. The two went on to seeing each other on and off for about five years, until Donald bent the knee to propose to Melania with a 15-karat diamond ring that cost $1.5 million.
And when Donald was elected as President in 2015, she gracefully assumed her duties as the First Lady. Amidst rumors of their deteriorating marriage, the couple have managed to stay together and have hit their 13th wedding anniversary.
Epstein was indeed a friend of the Trumps', however, Donald recently revealed that, ever since the former's arrest years ago, the later has avoided any contact with him. And the two have never talked since the said incident.
