Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is the newest addition to the royal family and he will reportedly be raised as a private citizen. So now, is Queen Elizabeth II more relaxed with him compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son is the seventh-in-line to the throne, yet unlike his cousins, he will reportedly not carry a royal title. Reports say the royal couple chose not to call him Archie the Earl of Dumbarton as they're hoping to raise him like a normal child.

It can be noted that Queen Elizabeth reportedly has a "tighter bond" with granddaughter Zara Tindall since she's "more normal" than Prince William and Prince Harry, and her relationship with the monarch is less formal. Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward also told Fabulous Digital that Her Majesty and Zara both love horses.

Since Archie will be raised as a private citizen like Zara, will Queen Elizabeth be more relaxed with him than the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children?

According to Former Royal Household butler Grant Harrold, all the monarch's great-grandchildren were all treated the same. He added that Prince Harry and Markle's son might be the "temporary favorite" since he's the youngest and smallest. Also, Her Majesty and Archie could likely form a "close bond" because of their nearby living quarters.

However, Harrold noted the monarch treated everyone the same and he never noticed favoritism of one over the other. But while the Queen seemed to be more relaxed now, the royal butler said that's not really the case. He explained Her Majesty has always been like that, and people are noticing things more now.

The monarch is already 93 years old, Harrold noted things are slightly different for her now - especially she's cutting back on royal duties. That only means she has more time and could go out with her great-grandchildren on walks or horse-riding.

In another related report, Her Majesty was not present during Archie's christening because of Prince Harry and Markle's blunder. Their son was christened in a private chapel at the Windsor Castle, and some members of the royal family were present - including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles, as well as Markle's mother, Doria Ragland.

But then, the family photo showed Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip weren't present. Reports say the monarch wasn't able to attend the occasion because of her prior engagements and it was a "simple calendar error" by Prince Harry and Markle.
