Game of Thrones star Jerome Flynn, who played as Bronn of the Blackwater, shut down the rumors surrounding him and co-star Lena Headey, who portrayed Cersei Lannister's role. The two reportedly never talk to each other and didn't even have a scene together despite its eight-season run. So, what's the real deal between the two?

Flynn and Headey are said to be "not on speaking terms" after their relationship ended badly. So at the recent Con of Thrones in Nashville, a fan asked the 56-year-old star about it.

"We were actually in the same scene together, and the last time I saw Lena we were speaking," he revealed, via Digital Spy. "So, I wouldn't believe everything you read, and like I said, [the media] can get pretty desperate for stories."

The John Wick: Chapter 3 star went on to say he and Headey are not a couple anymore, and people who have seen them together only jumped to conclusions. However, Flynn even joked he couldn't rule out a possible relationship with the 45-year-old British actress in the future. "I just don't know," he said.

Flynn first joined Game of Thrones Season 2. He played the role of the sellsword Bronn.

According to Yahoo, Flynn and Headey had a relationship in 2002 in what tabloids dubbed as "turbulent relationship." The two have known each other since 1993 on the set of the 90s British television series, Solider Solider.

However, a 2014 report by the Daily Telegraph revealed a Game of Thrones crew member said the two had so much hatred for each other that they didn't want to be in a scene together. They, too, could never be in the same room at the same time.

As their romance ended sour, the show's production team did everything they could to keep them apart. There were even rumors that it was part of their contracts that HBO had to follow.

At the time, Headey's role was irreplaceable, and Bronn became a fan favorite in Game of Thrones Season 4. So in Season 5, when Bronn was supposed to marry Lollys Stokeworth (Elizabeth Cadwallader) and move to the Red Keep, they couldn't do the supposed scenario.

So, people behind the series just took Bronn out and sent him to Dorne to be with Cersei's brother, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) instead. But despite the claim, Flynn still sees Headey as a wonderful person and actress.
