Orange Is The New Black season 7 returns on Netflix on Friday, July 26. The announcement of the release date was revealed via the See What's Next Twitter account of the streaming service, which includes several photos on what to expect - especially now that Piper's out in the real world.

Last February, series creator Jenji Kohan also posted an Instagram photo of the entire cast and crew members which marks the final day of filming as there's a message saying: "That's a wrap." Meanwhile, as for the cast of Orange Is The New Black season 7, Taylor Schilling will surely reprise her role as Piper Chapman, alongside Laura Prepon as Alex Vause.
Other cast members expected to return in the final installment include Dascha Polanco (as Daya), Kate Mulgrew (Red), Dale Soules (Frieda), Natasha Lyonne (Nicky), Adrienne C Moore (Black Cindy), Laura Gomez (Blanca), Danielle Brook (Taystee), and Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes). The new faces in the sixth season, Amanda Fuller (Madison) and Vicci Martinez (Daddy), will likely return as well.
Orange Is The New Black season 6 left a devastating finale, as Blanca unwittingly carted off to an immigration detention center and Taystee went down to a murder she didn't commit, while Piper was granted an early release. The series highlights the racial imbalance in the country, wherein less fortunate inmates stay behind bars.
Since Orange Is The New Black season 7 will be the last for the series; many are wondering if the show will have a spin-off or even a sequel. Just less than a month following the announcement of the final installment, were reported talks about a potential sequel of the series.
Lionsgate TV Group chairman Kevin Beggs said the show remains one of the most-watched shows on Netflix and they'll be ending it on a high note. They were reportedly in discussions regarding that matter, and when the timing is right, they'll talk to Kohan about the potential sequel.
