The latest episode of Ink Master Season 12 titled, Art of War, largely focused on consistency. In all of the challenges, the artists must remain consistent with their works. Alongside this skill, they have to be artistic and creative as well.
For the elimination challenge, Cam pulled off his unique and “eye-catching” tattoo artwork which, in the end, was named as the Tattoo of the Day. Following his consistent and detailed work, Janelle’s and Holli’s works also impressed the judges. Their tattoo designs have become the most consistent ones.
But while almost all of them have shown impressive works, especially with their cross-stitch tattoo designs, three of them obtained the lowest rankings. As it happened, the bottom three include Ash, Ashley, and Jake as they were not able to show consistency in most of their tattoo designs and output. And although each of them has their strengths and weaknesses, one had to go.
Unfortunately for Ashley, Ink Master Season 12 Episode 6 served as her last straw to become this season’s winner as she was ultimately eliminated from the competition.
It also came as a surprise to everyone that this season’s “front runner,” Fon, was criticized for his “inconsistency” which made the tattoo look “messy” as per Inked. This is why many people are now asking if Cam would be this season’s new frontrunner considering how he has improved tremendously. Even so, it is still too early to tell as per other fans.
As for the upcoming episode of Ink Master Season 12, it has been shown that Ash is totally “upset” and “tearful” for some reason. And according to Cartermatt, the details are yet to be revealed, but based on the preview alone, it seems that something has happened to her after becoming one of this week’s lowest-performing artist.
Even so, it is also worth noting that the next challenge for the upcoming episode will be a “face-off” against the other artists. Hence, there is a possibility that Ash’s bursts of emotions are related to this challenge for next week.
But of course, these are just mere speculations which will only be uncovered when the new episode arrives on the network. So, it is expected that the fans will be in for another treat as the competition is getting much more intense among all the artists.
Ink Master Season 12 Episode 7 titled, Sabotage, is set to premiere on July 23, on Paramount Network.
