The latest episode of Agents of SHIELD Season 6 has truly been explosive as the true identity of Sarge was finally revealed. However, it looks like the new trailer that debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con may have confirmed how the current season will end. So will Melinda May accept the fact that Sarge is not Phil Coulson? And will Daisy Johnson find the strength to face the copy of her mentor in the finale?
Agents of SHIELD recently held a panel at Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 where the cast spoke about what fans can look forward to in Season 6. In addition to that, the panel unveiled a new trailer for the last four episodes of the sixth season. Interestingly, the teaser featured some major spoilers from Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 10, confirming that Melinda May did not kill Sarge. Additionally, it hinted at Sarge getting some superpowers of his own.
The trailer briefly touched upon the final scene in the episode 'Collision Course (Part II)' where May went into Sarge's cell and shot him. However, it is then revealed that Sarge survived the shooting and was in fact healing and getting stronger. His strength is thoroughly displayed when he manages to toss Daisy aside and destroy a metal door. But that's not the only interesting thing that was confirmed about Sarge.
In 'Leap,' Leo Fitz deduced that Sarge is not Coulson but a copy created by the three Monoliths. In turn, Izel herself revealed that Sarge was possessed by Pachakutiq, who comes from her planet. The possession had led to Pachakutiq's memories being mixed with that of Coulson's, which explains why Sarge still remembers some things about Coulson.
While that mystery has been solved in Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 10, it also means that Sarge has the option of working with Izel. In the meantime, she has other things in mind as she possesses Yo-Yo Rodriguez and demands to be taken to her next destination. Mack has agreed to take her as long as she agrees that he could come along with her.
Will Sarge choose to join Izel, or could he decide to work with the agents? Is it possible that Sarge needs to be destroyed, and the only one who is capable of doing so is Daisy? Find out when Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 11 airs on ABC on July 26.
