Netflix has dropped the new movies and series coming to the platform for August, but The Ranch Part 7 is not part of the list. It looks like it will take more time before the American sitcom hits the small screens, as it may be out later this year.
The show only has about 20 episodes left before it ends. Netflix announced the series' return in October 2018, so fans celebrate the news to see the Bennett family once again on television.
The series' return will be its fourth season, which means fans are about to see Parts 7 and 8 that will have 10 episodes each. Details about The Ranch Part 7 are scarce, but there are theories as to what may come next.
According to What's on Netflix, the show's production already wrapped up in December last year, so new episodes are may be in the process of being edited or ready to go on air. There are rumors Debra Winger, who plays Maggie Bennett, may leave the series, although nothing is confirmed yet. According to TvLine, the 64-year-old star said her days in the show are numbered, and she might or might not be in the new episodes.
The previous season's new addition, Luke Matthews (Dax Shepard), might stay in the show and would continuously be seen on The Ranch Part 7. However, there are also questions if Rooster (Danny Masterson) would return after the alleged sexual misconduct charges, which led for his character to be written off in Part 6.
Meanwhile, although Netflix has yet to announce when The Ranch Part 7 will be out, there are theories it may be due for release this fall - from September to November. It may be improbable for the show to get released in December, making fans wait a whole year to see new episodes.
There is no chance for the show to come out in August unless Netflix announces its release in the middle of the month. Netflix Life noted it is a tough month for a lot of television series because there is a lot of going on. Although fans are hoping to see it as soon as possible, the months of September, October, or November are the most likely release time.
So, fans have to wait and see if The Ranch Season 7 will be out later this year. Part 8, on the other hand, maybe due for release in 2020.
