It's been months already ever since The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 has ended its course. But just right after its premiere on the platform, Netflix immediately renewed the show for another season.
This is a very unusual thing for the streaming giant to do in terms of renewing series materials. Even so, it only proves that the series has become a real asset on the platform.
Shortly after the finale of the second season, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 started its filming and production. Accordingly, the show is undoubtedly arriving before the year ends.
According to Seventeen, the new season is set to premiere this October. And while there is no confirmation yet, this is the most plausible release date considering that the prior seasons also premiered on the same month.
It is also worth noting that the cast of the show has been releasing a few teasers these past few weeks. And as it appears, it just strengthens the theories about its premiere on the platform.
As for the plot, it is somehow given as to how the new season will play out when it arrives. Quite obviously, it will pick up where it last left off when Nick Scratch sacrificed himself to the Dark Lord in order to save everyone. Right after the sacrifice, he headed off to hell and became a prison.
Being Sabrina, of course, she will try to save her boyfriend. And this means that the new season is very likely to feature her plans of actions, along with the Fright Club, to save Nick from hell as per TV Line. There are also speculations that the finale of the new season might end with Sabrina saving Nick from bondage and ultimately defeating the Dark Lord.
While these theories may seem all plausible, some of the fans have remained open to much more possibilities. Besides, a lot can happen in one season.
Aside from the details about The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3, there are also the talks of the fourth season. And as per reports, it might arrive in the spring of 2020.
It is not really impossible for the show to be renewed once more after the third run. And considering the current reception, it seemingly appears that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina might run a much longer course.
