Fear the Walking Dead season 5 is still airing, but there's good news about the season 6 of the AMC series. It was reported that the current season of the show would set up a "big change" once it entered the sixth installment.

In a report by ComicBook, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg teased what to expect on Fear the Walking Dead season 6. Chambliss said the world within the show is going to expand in a "big way" and when the fifth season ends, the entire group will be shaken and there will be a big change that would launch viewers into season 6.

Chambliss further added they're striving to change and reinvent Fear the Walking Dead, and viewers should expect a big change at the end of the fifth installment. Goldberg also said they see the current season as one big epic story, and it builds an ending that's designed to launch what would the season 6 looks like. The question now is, what could the big change be?

Some fans were speculating that Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead would cross paths at some point, or they could head to the Commonwealth before both programs conclude. Others also think there could be some other big communities out there and it would play a big part in the future of the characters.

There's also another question regarding Madison, as it's possible she's still out there and alive. Eagle-eyed viewers have already suspected she's alive over the past few weeks, as some clues pointing out she's probably out there.

But then, some don't want to assume the character is still alive as some speculations don't turn out to be true - most of the times. While there's no dead body recovered, the return of Madison in the show remains open. But right now, Kim Dickens, who plays the character, has a new series. Thus, her come back in the program is uncertain at this point.

Meanwhile, Fear the Walking Dead will return with is documentary style mid-season 5 on Sunday, August 11, on AMC. The title of the upcoming episode is "Channel 4," and according to the synopsis, the group travels in a convoy as they doubles-down on their mission to help survivors. But while trying to encourage more survivors to reach out, Charlie, Al, and Luciana document Morgan and the gang on a risky mission to help a reclusive survivor.
