Netflix has dropped the first look to 13 Reasons Why Season 3, and it surprised everyone with the death of Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice). Along with the surprising revelation is the question about what happened to Bryce. So, who killed Bryce and does it has a connection with everything he did?

Details about the show's new season remain scarce. But, it looks like the secrecy is intentional to drop a major twist with the new mystery that shocks the Liberty High School.

Who killed Bryce? Everyone is a suspect in 13 Reasons Why Season 3. Bryce was the one who raped Jessica Davis (Alisha Boe), Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), and even his girlfriend, Chloe Rice (Anne Winters).

The previous season featured the sexual assault trial against Bryce. Although a lot of people thought he would be sentenced for his crimes when Jessica talked to the police, he only received three months probation. So from the looks of it, someone took the law into his/her own hands.

As the trailer teased everyone is "connected by their secrets" as it features a scene from Bryce's funeral, one of them might be the one who is behind the killing. "The truth is, given the right circumstances, the right motivation, anyone could have done this."

The 13 Reasons Why Season 3 official synopsis is also dropped by Entertainment Weekly. It revealed Clay (Dylan Minnette), Tony (Christian Navarro), Alex (Miles Heizer), Justin (Brandon Flynn), Zach (Ross Butler), and Jessica helped Tyler (Devin Druid) to recover, eight months after stopping him from doing the "unthinkable act."

However, Clay will find himself under police scrutiny when the aftermath of the homecoming game ends to the disappearance of a football player. It will be up to the outsider how he will steer the group from an investigation that may reveal everyone's deepest secrets. The stakes are high in the new season as even the consequences of the well-intended actions can change someone's life forever.

Meanwhile, the show's creators finally followed the advice of the experts regarding Hannah's suicidal act in Season 1. The show's writers stay firmed to depict her suicide in graphic detail, but the newly edited version has removed all those visuals.

In a statement, via Vanity Fair, Netflix said it is now more mindful of the debates surrounding the show as it prepares to drop 13 Reasons Why Season 3. So, following the experts' advice, the network, along with the show's writers and creator Brian Yorkey, deleted the scene where Hannah took her own life.
