Supernatural season 15 is almost here, and this will be the final installment of the series. A lot of things are yet to unfold as the finale approaches, yet the most anticipated part - or most feared for some - would be the last part of the series. And recently, series star Jensen Ackles shares what he feels about the ending.

In every show, the series finale doesn't make everyone happy. Most fans were sad Supernatural season 15 would be the last for the dark-fantasy television series. Ackles admitted that he had a hard time accepting the fact that the show has come to an end.

In a report via TVLine, the actor revealed he struggled to accept the series is nearing its ending and he realized that he's too invested and too emotional. Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester, said he becomes too close to his character and seeing everything with finality feels "hard to digest" for him.

The actor then shared that he talked to a few people about what he feels regarding the show's ending, and he got some clarity. He said that he tried to look the show's last from a different perspective and he eventually realized Supernatural season 15 will have and "good ending" and it's "satisfying."

Also, Ackles would be directing the fourth episode of season 15, and he will reportedly be stepping into the director's chair before anyone else. That makes sense since it would be hard for him directing and being part of the cast at the same time.

Meanwhile, Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester, also revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con that he wanted both Dean and Sam to die. But, that does not necessarily mean the actor wants the characters to suffer or have a tragic ending. For him, he believes that was his way of saying the two has finally achieved peace.

Executive producer Robert Singer, on the other hand, had a positive conversation with series creator Eric Kripke regarding the ending - even though he's no longer involved behind the scene. Singer revealed that Kripke had been told about the finale and he reportedly likes it.

Regarding the filming of the series finale, it will possibly arrive in the new year. And based on Ackles and Padalecki's emotional reaction at the San Diego Comic-Con, it looks like many tears are going to be shed in the ending.

Supernatural season 15 will premiere on Thursday, October 10, on The CW.
