The royal family had previously been faced with a lot of scrutiny by people from all over the world when convicted sex abuser, Jeffrey Epstein, was found to have links with some of its members.

However, a new and fresh wave of scrutiny washed over Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, after some evidence was happened upon in the pedophile's home. The incriminating evidence, which was seized from the convict's mansion in Florida, had brought to light the link between Epstein and the Duchess of York.

Before his conviction in 2008, Epstein was a renowned and esteemed hedge fund manager. He also used to be a prominent man in society, running in the social circles with the likes of royal family members and fellow billionaires and even some big-name politicians.

It is no surprise then that he befriended the Duchess of York and her husband, Prince Andrew. But when he was being investigated for allegedly procuring a minor into some acts of prostitution, the friendship he shared with the couple had reflected badly on the royal family's image.

And now, the public has once again turned their attention to the link between the royal family and the sex abuser, as some evidence about their relationship has come to light.

A notepad was apparently seized from Epstein's Florida home in a search conducted there by police officers. The notepad belonged to the sex abuser and contained some shocking evidence inside its pages.

The Duchess of York had apparently sent someone to scribble down an important message for Epstein before he was taken into custody, where he now faces a trial due to charges of sex trafficking minors. The note apparently revealed that Ferguson was expecting his call, and at the end of the message, her number was written in order for the billionaire to contact her with.

As officers brought in the notepad as a piece of evidence, it was further investigated and later on discovered that Epstein had 18 different phone numbers that all belonged to the Duchess of York, and he also had her personal email address to communicate through.

Ferguson previously admitted that she did receive around fifteen thousand euros from the billionaire because she was looking for someone who could loan her some cash in order to pay out a big debt she had. In order to keep the royal family name untainted, she went on to announce that her ex-husband at the time had no involvement with the negotiations between herself and Epstein.

The Duchess of York also then publicly confessed that she deeply regretted ever being associated with Epstein and admitted it was a big mistake and a bad judgment call on her part. She also promised to pay back the loan as soon as she was able to.
