Samsung officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus along with Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10 5G, and Galaxy Note10 Plus 5G. The term Phablet was coined to define a smartphone that is about the size of the usual tablet. Thankfully the term has gone out of popular use, but with the introduction of super-sized smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and its other models, it seems that the term might get resurrected.

With the official unveiling from the South Korean tech giant, we now know the official specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. It is also high time to compare it with other products in the market that similarly packaged to Samsung's flagship smartphone. Here is the comparison and contrast between Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, OnePlus 7 Pro, and the iPhone XS Max.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a 6.8-inch display and, so far, could boast the largest screen available in the US market today. It is at least outmatched by Huawei Honor Note 10, a non-US smartphone with a 6.95-inches display. But, the display size does not necessarily show the total size of the device.

While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has an overall dimension of 6.39 x 3.04 x 0.31 inches it is beaten by a hairline by its sister, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G which has a 6.7-inch display with an overall dimension of at 6.40 x 3.04 x 0.31 inches. Although the Google Pixel 3 XL is not of the same size with a dimension of 6.22 x 3.02 x 0.31 inches, it has a modest display size of 6.3-inches. Other alternative smartphones with bigger display sizes include Galaxy S10 Plus, Apple's iPhone XS Max, and OnePlus 7 Pro.

The question is, what could you get from the extra display sizes? Well, aside from the high-resolution screens, the OnePlus 7 Pro has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus along with the S10 Plus and S10 5G have AMOLED displays with resolutions of 3040 x 1440.

These devices have multiple-lens rear camera setup with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus come with a time of flight camera sensor which helps gauge the depth of field.
