The return of Money Heist season 4 or La Casa De Papel part 4 on Netflix is certain. Creator Alex Pina confirmed that the action series is gearing up for a follow up to the third season, which has been streaming on the platform since July 19, 2019.

According to Lad Bible, Pina said in a press conference that Money Heist season 3 is not the end of the series. Though Netflix has not officially announced the renewal, the creator confirmed that there would be the fourth installment.

"They're [the characters are] a group of people who still have a lot to say," Pina said. "It took us quite a long time to decide, we wanted to respect our work."

The news comes as Netflix revealed in a press release that Money Heist season 3 was their most-watched non-English show globally with 34.4 million household views. Of these numbers, 70 percent of viewers finished binging the new season within seven days.

The show is not just a hit in the Spanish-speaking regions where Netflix is available. Subscribers from Italy, France, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, and Argentina are also hooked on the series. Apart from its viewership, Money Heist recently won the award for Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards.

Money Heist follows a gang of eight who stole gold from the Bank of Spain. In the third season, their heist involved saving one of their own as Rio (played by Miguel Herran) was captured and tortured by the Spanish police which wanted more information about their group.

His girlfriend, Tokyo (played by Ursula Corbero), rounded up the gang once again despite their comfortable lives to rescue Rio. Though they succeeded in the mission as steered by El Professor (played by Alvaro Morte), Rio decided to break up with Tokyo by the season's end.

Rio figured out that Tokyo and Denver (played by Jaime Lorente) almost hooked up in Money Heist season 3. Both lovers questioned their relationship and realized that breaking up was the best thing for each other.

Meanwhile, Money Heist season 4 could unravel the next moves of Raquel (played by (Itziar Ituño) who was seemingly shot dead by the police when she refused to give up El Professor's location. It was revealed in the finale of the last season that she's still alive.

The first three seasons of Money Heist can be watched Netflix.
