Queen Elizabeth II enjoys her summer holiday in Balmoral, and the monarch will likely catch up with Meghan Markle, as one royal expert claimed Her Majesty has grown increasingly fond of her granddaughter-in-law.

Queen Elizabeth returned to the Scottish castle for annual summer break and Markle - along with her husband Prince Harry and son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor - could reportedly arrive in Balmoral as well. A royal expert sid Her Majesty enjoys family visits while she's in Aberdeenshire and she's reportedly excited to host the Duchess of Sussex, as the monarch has grown fond of her.

Richard Fitzwilliams claims the Queen cannot wait to host the Sussexes this summer and the royal couple will bring their son to the estate to be with Her Majesty. The royal expert also said Queen Elizabeth would able to relax in Balmoral, as the politicians take a break as well. Then, Fitzwilliams added it would be interesting to know how Markle, a city dweller, fares at the estate.

The monarch reportedly fond of the Duchess of Sussex, and if ever she will indeed pay a visit, many royal fans will look forward to it. Balmoral is said to be one of the few places royal family members can privately relax, especially away from the media spotlight.

Also, Balmoral becomes a refuge for British royals in many ways, and this is where Prince William and Prince Harry stayed after their mother, Princess Diana, died. And since Prince Harry and Markle are fond of their privacy, the estate is the right place for the couple to relax.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex divided opinion following her guest-edited issue of British Vogue. While some believe the "Forces for Change" issue is a timely tribute to powerful women, others think Markle's take on the global issue was out of touch with her role. But even though this approach ruffles the opinion of many, it seems like Queen Elizabeth is fine with it.

In a related report, the monarch made an "unusual effort" to make Markle feel accepted to the royal family. Reports say Queen Elizabeth wanted to build a special relationship with her granddaughter-in-law, not a strained relationship like what she had with the late Princess Diana.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe claims the Queen Elizabeth's unusual effort was during a trip on a royal train last year after the Duchess of Sussex joined the royal family. The monarch likely wants Markle to feel welcome, and Larcombe added Her Majesty never offered such things to Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton.
