Things will be more complicated for Ben Stone (Josh Dallas) in Manifest Season 2 with the coming of a new character. Blue Bloods alum Yasha Jackson will join the show in a recurring role that will once again complicate Ben's relationship with his wife.

Jackson will play the role of Suzanne next season. Aside from being the dean of Astoria University, she also happens to be Ben's former girlfriend, TV Line noted.

"After we had taken pains to get Ben and Grace to a place of understanding finally and to have summed up their marriage in a way that feels good and real and hopefully long-lasting, this new wrench comes into the equation," Jeff Rake told TV Guide about Jackson's coming. "And that's going to challenge the stability of their marriage all over again."

Her return to Ben's life comes after his reconciliation with his wife, Grace (Athena Karkanis), who is pregnant with either his child or her ex-boyfriend, Danny (Daniel Sunjata). If you think this is already complicated, things will be more involved in Manifest Season 2. As there will be a significant drama regarding Grace's baby, Suzanne may become Ben's shoulder to cry on.

Also, aside from Jackson, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists' Garrett Wareing will also be making his way to Manifest Season 2. The 17-year-old star will be joining the show next year as TJ, a college freshman who boarded the ill-fated Flight 828.

Just like the other passengers, their five-year disappearance makes TJ out of himself. So, he may need the help of Ben and Mikaela (Melissa Roxburgh) for some guidance. He feels like he has been a little separated from the other passengers and having a hard time to find his place.

Hence, Ben may come to TJ's aid as much as he can. Now, according to CarterMatt, there is a big question if TJ and Suzanne's characters are somehow connected.

TJ's character description does not reveal what university he attends to, but there is a possibility that he is also from Astoria University. Suzanne may be the one who will call Ben about TJ's situation and tells him his case on the campus.

Aside from the newly-added characters, fans also think how Manifest Season 2 will deal with the previous season finale's major cliffhanger. Knowing the show is quite exceptional, it may address the ending with a big expose next season. The show's second installment is set to be out next winter on NBC.
