Tesla is reportedly eyeing Germany to be the location to be its newest factory, in the northwest to be exact. The first inspections of the said location are said to be already done.

According to a local German newspaper Rheinische Post, Tesla is now in the process of establishing its Chinese manufacturing footprint, and at best, thinking it best to have a new factory in northwest Germany, as reported by Reuters.

The company itself has not released a statement about it, but the newspaper is claiming that the location has already been inspected. '

This report could not be that far-fetched even without an official statement though. Twice, Tesla CEO Elon Musk already said Germany is a great location for this massive factory. He also hinted the French border could be a good choice though.

Last October, Tesla was already able to secure a spot in Shanghai for its Chinese Gigafactory. Immediately, news had it that this Chinese factory's output will be supported by LG Chem. It is expected that this factory would require a high volume of battery cells ad LG Chem is prepared to meet this need.

According to Teslarati, there are now some leaked images and footage gathered from the interior of the Gigafactory 3. Based on these materials, the company is already definitely preparing for its trial production runs of its Made-in-China Model 3.

The leaks were found on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. A user, a certified electric car enthusiast with the handle Battery King _ (电池王_) leaked these photos. Overall, the images offer a glimpse of a part of Gigafactory 3 that is already almost complete. More work should be done since the floors, and the walls are at present, still bare concrete. The lighting though is already fixed, and the installation of manufacturing equipment is ongoing.

More than what the factory looks like; however, what is interesting about these leaked photos are the two partially-built Model 3 already in an assembly line. Fans can, therefore, start being excited about this model since its around the corner.

This is good news because it means Elon Musk did not overestimate the ability of the company in producing this model. It can be remembered that Musk back in January revealed that Model 3 could begin production by December, but August is yet to end, and fans already have these leaked images to feast over. It's always better to be early than late.
