Fans of Jennifer Lopez are still rooting for her to find happy ending, after three of her attempts to say "I do" did not work out. It seems though that she has found a perfect partner in baseball star Alex Rodriguez, who popped the question to the Hustlers star earlier this year.
According to a report by Marie Claire, J-Lo and A-Rod announced their engagement in March this year with Alex going the whole nine yards. The athlete proposed to Jennifer at sunset on a beautiful beach in the Bahamas. The athlete admitted that he did not leave anything to chance and planned for the proposal six months in advance and rehearsed three days in a row.
As for J-Lo, she admitted that the proposal from her beau came at the perfect time because she was 100 percent ready to commit to their relationship. In an interview, she said that being part of the entertainment industry surrounded by people, she still needed someone to be with her and marrying Alex felt like finding someone who would stick by her and make her even better.
While the pair seems like they're ready for the much-anticipated wedding, there is still the issue of preparations to be dealt with. It is unclear whether the couple will go through with a big church wedding or a beach wedding, inspired by their engagement.
According to J-Lo, she is leaning towards a church wedding this time around. The star has been married three times before with two of her marriages to Ojani Noa and Criss Judd lasting only a very short while because of her youth. Her third marriage to Marc Anthony lasted 10 years before the couple called it quits, Harper's Bazaar reported.
The Hustle star has been seeing Alex Rodriguez for three years before the baseball player proposed and it seemed like the perfect time when they were both ready to make a big commitment. J-Lo said though that it would take time to plan their perfect wedding so it might not be until 2020 that the public hears of any concrete details.
"We haven't planned it yet. You know, the rest of this year, I have another movie, I have a TV show, I have kids, I have an album, I have a lot of things... Alex has baseball for the rest of the year," she said to Extra.
As for the exact theme of the wedding, the star said, "I don't know, I don't know... I have no info for you yet. You never know, don't pigeonhole me."
