Blue Bloods season 10 will be arriving later next month, and many stories are yet to be explored for different characters. Jamie and Eddie, in particular, are on a new mission - but what would it be?
When Blue Bloods season 10 premieres, viewers will see Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) trying to figure out what would be the next phase of their lives. It seems like there are no flashbacks to see what happened during their wedding day, as the new season will instead move forward and focus on the future of these two, as well as where they are at right now.
For instance, Jamie and Eddie go on apartment-hunting together, which might be challenging for both of them. This could create a conflict between them, especially when it comes to financial matters as living in New York City is quite expensive, and they don't have a high-paying job - unless they're on a high-level position like Frank (Tom Selleck).
Another thing to consider here is whether or not they are looking for a place where they can raise a family together and can call it home. It is possible there would be some fights along the way while searching for their new place, but it seems like they would still find a place that will suit both their needs and wants.
The premiere of Blue Bloods season 10 will also be the 200th episode of the series, and it will see Frank trying to help his ex-partner Lenny Ross (Treat Williams) his daughter is arrested. It's nice to see this character returning early this season, as whenever Lenny shows up, trouble likely follows him.
Erin (Bridget Moynahan), on the other hand, goes up against a cold-blooded defense attorney from her past. Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) grapple with a year-old homicide investigation brought to their attention by Maggie (Callie Thorne) - the one who helped them solve the previous case.
There are a lot of things to unpack here, including why is Maggie coming back? She's a psychic who made an appearance in season 9 and formed a connection with Danny - though not romantically.
Another question is: will Sean and Jack Reagan return? While that's not yet confirmed at the moment, brothers Tony and Andrew Terraciano were present during the 200th episode cake-cutting ceremony just recently. In the previous season, Jack (Tony) is mostly gone as he attended college.
Blue Bloods season 10 will premiere on Friday, September 27, on CBS.
