Her friends are reportedly happy that she's finally opening up about her pain over the breakup and that she's finally sticking up for herself.
The outfit further claims that Katie is also targeting her ex-husband Tom Cruise and that she's ready to tell all about their 13-year estrangement. It was unclear what this entailed, but entertainment site debunked the claims citing that the magazine failed to cite a credible source in their report.
Gossip Cop also claimed that it was unlikely for Katie to be speaking out against Jamie now that they have broken up when she has hardly said anything about their relationship in the past six years.
Meanwhile, a report from Marie Claire, which outlined the relationship timeline of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, indicated that the couple has broken up as early as May, this year.
The break up was only confirmed when the musician-actor was spotted holding the hand of young singer Sela Vave, who was reportedly taking up residence with him. The actor confirmed this in an interview but clarified that it was a strictly business arrangement as Vave was entrusted to him by her mother. He also clarified that the hand-holding scene did not mean other than assisting in getting into the car.
While gossip magazines are dead set on finding the drama, it seems that Katie is coping with the break up just fine. The actress-influencer was recently spotted out and about in New York City looking relaxed and in high spirits. Katie was seen in wearing an off-the-shoulder beige cardigan with a matching bra after she spent time out to have lunch with her daughter Suri, Us reported.
While it seems that the ex-couple are focusing on their own lives right now, a source by E! did not rule out the possibility of a reconciliation.
"They are just both caught up with their own families, careers, and obligations that their relationship had to take a back seat," the source said.
