The Walking Dead season 10 is arriving very soon, and the new installment will likely introduce a new world for the zombie-fighters. The latest teaser showed that some of the characters set a new goal, so here's what viewers will exactly expect in the upcoming installment.

AMC usually features Michonne, Daryl, and Carol to sell the new season, but the recently released promo of The Walking Dead season 10 comes on a different approach. The clip teases a glimpse of Eugene, Judith, Negan, other familiar faces, as well as their weapons.

Their main goal is that they need to work to stop some of the Whisperers - which only implies that Whisperers still have a role to play in The Walking Dead season 10. Also, the new installment will also feature more battles, but one question remains: who are the people should be on the other side of the zombie apocalypse?

What's also tricking about The Walking Dead season 10 is that the headlines regarding the departures of some of the characters are prominent that the characters who are on the series itself. For instance, there are a lot of talks about the departure of Danai Gurira's character Michonne, Rick Grimes' movie status, and whether or not Maggie will return.

In one of the teasers, Carol revealed she's been receiving letters from Maggie, hinting that the latter is still possibly part of the universe. Lauren Cohan's character departed in the series in the middle of season 9, and the actress starred in another series Whiskey Cavalier. But then, the show wasn't renewed for another season, so many speculated Maggie would come back at some point in the Walking Dead world.

Moreover, there are also questions if Christian Serratos' character Rosita will exit on the show, as the actress is speculated to star in a new series. In a report via The Hollywood Reporter, Serratos might be appearing on Netflix's upcoming project, where she'll be playing the role of Selena Quintanilla.

Sources claimed the streaming giant is in negotiation with the actress to be part of its new series, who has been part of the AMC series since season 4. And, if ever confirmed, the production schedule for Selena overlaps that of The Walking Dead, so Serratos' days on the hit zombie drama were now numbered.

Entering the new season, viewers will see expected - and possibly unexpected - departures for some of the characters. The Walking Dead season 10 premiers on Sunday, October 6, on AMC.
