The month of September is about to start, and everyone is excited for This Is Us Season 4's release. NBC has dropped first photos from the show, giving a glimpse of what is about to happen, while Sterling K. Brown teases Randall's future.

The new season would feature a fresh start to Randall and Beth's (Susan Kelechi Watson) family life. This time, Randall will have more time with the family while also serving the underserved as the newly-elected City Councilman.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Brown revealed the move to Philadelphia inspires Randall as it gives him access and opportunity to serve the African-American community. However, it will also lead him to be critical of himself, like if he is enough to do the job.

The beginning of This Is Us Season 4 will not only bring fans to different directions but Randall as well. "There will be something that is disruptive, from the beginning," Brown teased. He even described the premiere episode to be "subversive."

Brown teased the show would be quite disruptive. If fans are expecting something to happen, the storyline will suddenly flip it. The same thing will happen to the series' format. After they continuously do something for a couple of weeks, everything will change.

Meanwhile, This Is Us Season 4's first photos, via TV Line, confirmed the Pearson family would have a fresh beginning. In the snaps, Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) looked happy as they hug their son, Jack, who was born at the Season 3 finale.

The kid seems to be doing well after his stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Hence, the new parents can't even help beaming over their baby boy.

Elsewhere, Randall, Beth, and their girls look settled in their new home in Philadelphia. They have their house blessed in time of Randall's birthday celebration. However, as they begin their new life, something may happen that may once again put them at risk.

The teaser snaps also showed the young Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) all dressed up for dinner. Here, Jack seemed to be meeting Rebecca's mom for the first time. Although this scene seemed to be sweet for the young lovers, it might not go smoothly as expected.

By the looks of it, there will be a lot of changes happening in This Is Us Season 4. Aside from the usual family drama, the coming of the Once Upon a Time alum Jennifer Morrison in a mysterious role, the possible aged-up of the Big Three, along with a new movie role for Kevin (Justin Hartley) will also be seen. The new season is set to be out on Sep. 24 on NBC.
