Are engaged celebrity couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom expecting a baby soon? It may seem so after the singer revealed what appeared to be a baby bump during the premiere of her beau's Amazon Prime series, Carnival Row.
According to a report by New Idea, the pair attended the premiere and drew attention for a slight bump in Katy's stomach during the red carpet entrance. Katy was wearing a tight pink gown as her fiancé escorted her.
The couple seemed to take the attention in stride but refused to comment to confirm or deny the rumors. It can be recalled that there have also been previous reports hinting that the couple would be on the baby way as Life and Style Magazine cited a source that talked about the pair's plans to start a family.
The Lord of the Rings star proposed to his lady love, Katy Perry on Valentine's Day this year by presenting her with a beautiful ruby ring to mark their engagement.
The source reportedly said that Katy had wanted to have a baby after they were married but would probably opt to postpone the wedding if she falls pregnant. The couple seem to be very happy and supportive of each other, unmindful of the speculations that surrounded their relationship.
"Things like writing a note, showing appreciation for that person and making sure they feel that you care, that you see what they're doing, that you appreciate what they're doing and that you try to make them feel safe and connected and grounded. That's something that I think we both try to do for one another," Orlando shared the secret of their strong relationship.
However, Gossip Cop has debunked the reports as mere rumors after it reached out Katy Perry's rep. The singer's camp denied the reports and said it was completely false.
As for planning for the wedding, the singer recently said in an interview that she and her beau are not in a rush to get married. She said that since she and Orlando were already both married once and it was different now that they are in their thirties. Orlando famously split with Miranda Kerr in 2013 while Katy was briefly married to Russel Brand which ended in divorce in 2011.
"We're really doing the hard work and laying a beautiful foundation before we start to build a massive house...figuratively, emotionally, you know," she said to Buzzfeed.
