After the previous season ended with a lot of unanswered questions, 13 Reasons Why Season 4 is expected to tie all the loose ends and answer all the mysteries. As the show will come to an end, viewers want to see how everyone's story will come to a close after the surprising turn of events in Season 3.

Season 3 ended with a major cliffhanger after the revelation that Jessica (Alisha Boe) and Alex (Miles Heizer) were the ones that killed Bryce (Justin Prentice). Monty (Timothy Granaderos) also got killed when he was imprisoned for sexually assaulting Tyler (Devin Druid) and accused of killing Bryce. However, Winston (Deaken Bluman) knew Monty couldn't do it as they were together all night.

Monty and Winston slept together on the night Bryce got killed. Hence, it could be strong evidence Winston was innocent of the murder. But with his death, Ani (Grace Saif) could easily pin Bryce's murder on him, and Deputy Standall (Mark Pellegrino) would easily believe it, Digital Spy noted.

The deputy's son, Alex, had killed Bryce, so the police officer had the personal motive to kill Monty. There was even a scene where he was destroying evidence that could be used against his child.

As Winston confronted Ani about what she and her friends had done, this storyline might be explored in 13 Reasons Why Season 4. Winston is the key to uncover the truth. Although he doesn't know who killed Bryce, he knows that it is not Monty. Will Winston get silenced or finally speak about it?

The finale episode showed a fisherman found the gun that Tony (Christian Navarro) and Clay (Dylan Minnette) got rid of for Tyler. Now, the biggest question in 13 Reasons Why Season 4 is how big the chance that police will track the gun or somebody else will get blamed for it once again, per Seventeen.

The guns may play a significant role in the show's storyline in the next season. Deputy Standall knew what occurred that night after Ani's revelations. However, it looks like he is not interested in pursuing Tyler.

But with the emergence of physical evidence, the police may once again put their attention to Tyler's case. This event will not only result to be significant damage to Tyler but considerable trouble for Clay as he plays as the prime suspect in Bryce's murder. Netflix has yet to announce when 13 Reasons Why Season 4 will come out, but it is expected for release in 2020.
