Since they met on the set of A Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, the relationship of low-key celebrity couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes has been growing strong. But with the spate of Hollywood splits and divorces in recent weeks, rumors are also now circulating and implying that the pair may be headed towards the same path.

Entertainment magazine In Touch recently reported that Eva and Ryan could be the next couple to split up after their eight-year relationship hit a rough patch. The magazine claimed that after all their years together, they have lost the spark in their relationship and they have grown apart. The report further claimed that when it came to emotions, Ryan was not the type to bother talking about his feelings while his lady love was the opposite. This has allegedly driven the couple apart.

However, Gossip Cop is quick to debunk the report as baseless as it verified the information with a source close to the couple. The source claimed that the reports were untrue with no evidence to back it up.

Eva expressed her love and admiration for Ryan in a recent interview with Women's Health. The actress said that Ryan's act of dedicating his Golden Globe win from Lala Land to her late brother was the most beautiful gesture. In the same interview, she said that Ryan changed her view on having kids and made her realize that she wanted to be the mother of his children.

"I would like to try and thank one person properly and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I've ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer," Ryan said in his amazing tribute to Eva and her brother.

The couple recently expanded their family by adopting a dog from Friends for Life Rescue Network. Eva, in her Instagram post, encouraged fans to opt for adopting from animal shelters to give its residents a chance to find loving forever homes. She also encouraged animal lovers who cannot adopt to donate to the cause as these nonprofits keep animals off the streets and out of shelters where they are euthanized, Elle reported.

Eva and Ryan, who are parents to daughters Amanda and Esmeralda, and now with the addition of their dog Lucho, have grown their family to five.
