The new episode will continue Strand (Colman Domingo) and Alicia's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) journey after the events of the previous episode. It looks like Alicia is now ready to move on and dive into her artistic side, thanks to Wes (Colby Hollman).
"Logan's motives are revealed; Sarah (Mo Collins), Dwight (Austin Amelio), and Luciana (Danay Garcia) negotiate for the sake of the mission," Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 13 official synopsis read. "Strand and Alicia race to the aid of a new survivor in a familiar place; a dangerous threat emerges."
According to CarterMatt, Alicia now knows that she shouldn't let her past control herself. She needs to work on herself and be her inspiration to do things, and she will begin in "Leave What You Don't." In the trailer, Alicia is seen trying to help Wes, while June (Jenna Elfman) and John (Garret Dillahunt) are facing a problem of their own as Logan (Matt Frewer) seems to possibly finding the oilfield.
The new episode may reveal what Logan's real intention to the oilfield and how it will reveal if he will be a friend or a foe of the group. Although the show only has four episodes to feature before it ends, it still has a lot of questions that need to answer to tie some of the loose ends.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 13 teaser just confirms Alicia's safe return. Debnam-Carey's character was last seen in earlier in the season after being contaminated with blood that belonged to a nuclear walker.
Although the show didn't reveal how lethal the amount of blood would affect Alicia, fans still worried for her future. Debnam-Carey herself fretted for her character when she read the current season's scripts, detailing Alicia's close encounter with the zombie innards.
"When I first read it, I did call up, like, 'Yo, what's happening?'" she said, via Metro News. "And I got a few details, but of course I cannot say anything."
However, in the trailer, Alicia is back wielding a gun like a real badass that she is. Sarah, Dwight, and Luciana will try their best to negotiate for their mission's sake after Logan's real motive are revealed. Will they work things out in the new episode?
Just like the show's theme, new dangers will emerge as Victor and Alicia come to the aid of a new survivor that they are about to meet in a very familiar place. Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 13, "Leave What You Don't," is set to be out on Sunday, Sept. 8, on AMC.
