Titans has become one of DC Universe's most interesting series in recent times. After airing 11 episodes on the platform, the reviews and receptions were quite "divisive" as per reports. Some people would find the show quite good. Others, however, have a different opinion about the series.

Per critics, there are a few things that Titans lack in its pilot season. Even so, it still provided a pretty decent plot. But of course, some are asking for more considering that there is a huge lack of action when it comes to the titular characters.

As it happened, the first season finale ended with a cliffhanger. With the team's apparent "loss" to Rachel's father, Trigon, it was a pretty good way to end the season. However, Screen Rant reiterated that the fans were expecting for more. So, while the finale caught the viewers off guard, there is still a missing element within the show.

This is probably the reason why most trailers of the upcoming season appear to be a little different than before. It seemingly appears that Titans Season 2 is taking a different approach this time. And based on reports, the new season will feature a much newer dynamic in terms of its course.

According to The Wrap, the upcoming season will welcome new faces and characters. And while the premise largely focuses on Robin's movements after teaming-up with Batman, the new season will focus on Bruce Wayne.

It has been revealed that Bruce will play an integral role in the lives of the characters. During the first run of the DC series, Batman and Bruce Wayne were largely mentioned because of Robin. So, it is now only fitting to depict Bruce Wayne into the premise of the second season.

But while he will be the center and focus of Titans Season 2, Batman will not be seen. This is because the show wanted to focus on the personal life of the popular DC hero. And how his lavish lifestyle affected his other persona as Batman, and the other way around.

Showrunner, Greg Walker, also pointed out that there are restrictions when it comes to depicting Batman in other shows and films. And probably this is one of the many reasons why the popular hero won't be around when Season 2 arrives.

The same thing also happened with Gotham as the show ran with a lot of restrictions, especially concerning Batman. Even so, the upcoming season will certainly be so much more interesting as it offers a new setting and approach.

Titans Season 2 will air on September 6, on DC Universe.
