In the next few weeks, The Good Place Season 4 is finally arriving. But while the fans are now rejoicing for its premiere, it also saddens the fandom knowing that it will already serve as the final installment of the show.

When the fantasy comedy series first premiered on NBC in 2017, it immediately obtained its audience for its funny and witty dynamic. Not to mention, many critics have commended the show for its overall tone, writing, and setting. And just after its shocking twist in the first season finale, the recognition for the show became even more evident.

The Good Place earned a lot of accolades and awards in just a short span of two years or less. This is why it is no doubt that the series has been renewed for a new season.

But while many are truly enjoying what the show's offering to its audience, it has been revealed that ending the series in its fourth season run is just suitable.

In an interview with Digital Spy, the cast members spoke about the matter at hand. And based on the statements, they've all gathered that the plot has already come to its "natural" ending.

The series creators explained that even if the show is performing well, it does not mean that they should just take advantage of it. And this is also in consideration of the fact that they've all arrived at the conclusion that this is the best time to end the series for good.

Aside from these points, the main cast members, including Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, and Jameela Jamil also shared that they all feel happy and delighted about the show's course. So even though they are quite sad as well that the upcoming season will already be the end, it also feels great knowing that the journey felt complete.

Just a few days ago, Screen Rant released the first few looks at the final season of The Good Place. The first official video teaser reveals a lot of things about the new and final season. It also presents the cast members' thoughts about the upcoming course. Plus, a quick recap of the show has also been included.

The Good Place Season 4 will premiere on September 26, on NBC. As for its arrival on Netflix, it is set on September 27. And as the show releases its episodes week per week, Netflix will also follow the same format the day after the actual airing schedule on NBC.
