Law & Order: SVU Season 21 is set to arrive later this month, and viewers will be introduced to some new faces when the latest installment premieres. Now, we have a list of the new characters onboard this season.

Recently, Demore Barnes confirmed, via Twitter, that he would be joining the upcoming Law & Order: SVU Season 21. In his post, he wrote: "Saved you a hot seat. Excited for you to see what I've been up to on." The actor, however, didn't reveal what role he would be playing in the crime procedural drama. Barnes appeared on other television series, including Starz's American Gods and Syfy's 12 Monkeys.

Ian McShane will also appear in Law & Order: SVU Season 21, with the role of a "powerful media mogul." The Deadwood/American Gods actor's character is someone who's likely using his influence and power to take advantage of young women. His role will indeed bring chaos for Olivia Benson, who is being portrayed by Mariska Hargitay, and the rest of the SVU squad.

Also, Ariel Winter will guest star in the new season. Show executive producer Warren Leight first announced the news via Twitter. He confirmed that the Modern Family actress would appear as a guest star in the second episode, which is reportedly titled "The Darkest Journey Home."

Amy Hargreaves is also set to guest star on Law & Order: SVU Season 21, and she will portray the character of Dr. Alexis Hanover. The Homeland/13 Reasons Why actress's role is a "psychologist tasked with teaching a new police interview technique to the squad," as per TVLine. The description added Hanover would ask each detective to play the role of a witness and recall past traumas of their lives.

Meanwhile, the new ADA is perhaps one of the most significant roles that remain mysterious right now. Philip Winchester exits from the series, and the actor will not be returning as Peter Stone in the new season. His departure in season 20 finale has already given enough justice.

Show executive producer Julie Martin was previously asked about the new ADA. However, she joked her fellow executive producer Leight would fire her if she reveals the news. And while there were only a few details about this, some fans speculated the new ADA is someone they already know, but others believed it would be a new face who will bring balance in the series.

Law & Order: SVU Season 21 will premiere on Thursday, September 26, on NBC.
