Recent reports have intensified the speculations claiming that ex-spouses Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston giving romance another try. Rumors have it that the pair stepped out on a 3-day vacation in Cabo San Lucas to heat up their rekindled relationship.

According to the Star, Brad and Jen spent three days and two nights in Mexico and are talking about where their relationship is going. The magazine's source claimed that the ex-couple see their vacation as pure fun but are talking about where things are headed.

A report by entertainment blog Pink Villa cast doubt on the veracity of the rumors given that there is no hard evidence to support the claim. While there have been denial or confirmation from the Ad Astra actor's camp, it is said that it is unlikely for him to get back together with Jennifer Aniston because of his personal issues.

In recent interviews, Brad has been openly talking about 18 months of sobriety as he tries to clean up his act after his split with Angelina Jolie.

"I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges. You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard. It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself. It was actually really freeing just to expose the ugly sides of yourself. There's great value in that," he said about attending Alcoholics Anonymous and getting his life back on track without alcohol.

It is also unlikely that Jennifer Aniston would want to get back together with her ex, given that she has devoted a lot of effort in detaching herself from the image of being Brad Pitt's deserted wife.

According to a report by The Sun, after her split with Brad, Jen has established herself in the acting field with a lot of tough, memorable roles in Cake, Mothers' Day and Dumplin' which earned her accolades from award-giving bodies and her peers in the industry.

While it was reported that Jen and Brad are in better terms now following his attendance to her 50th birthday party this year, fueling reports of a reunion, the Murder Mystery actress has reportedly made peace with their failed relationship and is now extremely happy with her life and feels no need to gain other people's sympathy.
