Cole Sprouse is keeping his cool in responding to the fact that "The Selena Gomez" used to have a crush on him. The Riverdale actor left a pun comment when Gomez shared a photo, and a clip that revealed that she used to write "Selena + Juan" and "Selena Belongs w/ Cole Sprouse 4-Ever!!!" on a wall when she was 11.

The "Back To You" singer, recently, paid a visit to her old middle school in Texas. She posted a video and a photo of a wall in her school where she wrote the phrases "Selena + Juan" and "Selena Belongs w/ Cole Sprouse 4-Ever!!!." Gomez admitted that she wrote those herself when she was 11.

"Apparently my heart was very conflicted between Juan and Cole Sprouse when I was 11," she captioned the post

Sprouse responded to his fellow Disney Channel star's post. "Always Juan-upping me," he wrote, referring to the other guy, Juan, whose identity has yet to be revealed. Gomez, meanwhile, has not replied yet.

Although Gomez had a crush on Cole, it was his twin brother, Dylan, whom the "Hands To Myself" singer ended up kissing when she was 13 years old. Gomez met the twins when she made a guest appearance on the Sprouse's TV show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Both Selena and Cole were The Disney Channel stars. The latter starred on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody with his twin brother, Dylan, from 2005-2008. Selena, on the other hand, appeared in Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2012.

While fans of both stars were thrilled of Selena's post and Cole's response, many are not expecting anything romantic to blossom between them. The 13 Reasons Why executive producer is, currently, single and not dating anyone. However, Sprouse is in a relationship with his Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart.

In a recent interview with Coveteur, Reinhart called Sprouse "my boyfriend" when asked about what special effects makeup she is planning to do this Halloween. Reinhart teased that she and Sprouse will be dressing up as a famous TV duo for the Halloween.

This made some fans turned their attention to the mysterious childhood crush of Gomez: Juan. Many are on a mission to look for Juan and find out what is his current relationship status.

"JUAN WHERE ARE YOU!!!! ARE YOU MARRIED OR NOT!!!!," a fan wrote. "Seriously Juan where are you. Someone find Juan please," another posted on social media.

Meanwhile, Gomez is, reportedly, planning to make a reboot of Wizards of Waverly Place with co-star David Henrie. The actor revealed, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, that he and Selena have already talked about some ideas about the possible reboot. Gomez and Henrie played roles of siblings Alex and Justin Russo, respectively, on the Disney Channel show.
