Despite the extended Droughtlander, Outlander stars Sam Heughan, and Graham McTavish are preparing something special for their fans. It's a podcast titled Clan Land

Amidst their busy schedule filming Outlander Season 5, Heughan and McTavish made time to film some episodes for their Clan Lands. It is a podcast where the two will be talking about Scotland and its culture.

In a clip that Heughan shared on his social media account, the Scottish actors revealed how exhausted they are in filming the podcast. The two traveled across Scotland to feature the best of the country.

"I can barely stand. I am utterly exhausted... Incredible castles we've visited. Incredible history we've learned about. Incredible landscapes. Incredible near misses in the campervan," McTavish confessed in a very Scottishly manner.

Heughan, jokingly, added they are "still alive." He, also, assured fans that they had prepared something great for Outlander viewers.

"Based on the Scottish Clans, their history, culture and the landscape of Scotland... if these two don't get lost or drunk. Or both," the official synopsis of the podcast reads.

To add to the excitement to the duo's adventure, they make a stop at the Loch Ness to film some episodes for their podcast. Understandably, the two will not miss Loch Ness in their much-awaited Clan Lands since it is known for its folklore and the Loch Ness monster.

Heughan and McTavish first revealed their plan for a podcast early last month. The two are known for playing Scottish highlanders in Starz time-traveled drama Outlander. Heughan plays the role of Jamie Fraser while McTavish portrayed Dougal MacKenzie in Seasons 1 and 2.

Outlander Season 5 is set to premiere on February 16, 2020, a couple of months behind its original schedule. Starz network boss Jeffrey Hirsch explained, during the recent Television Critics Association summer press tour, that the delay is due to programming schedule at the network.

Meanwhile, Heughan took home the Best Actor for TV series award at the 2019 Saturn Awards. Heughan won over Game of Thrones' Kit Harington, The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey Wright of Westworld, Grant Gustin of The Flash, The Orville'Seth MacFarlane, and The Sinner's Bill Pullman.

Heughan's co-stars Caitriona Balfe (Claire), Sophie Skelton (Brianna), and Tim Downie (Lord Tyron) congratulated the actor. Heughan failed to attend the award ceremony but expressed his gratitude to Saturn Awards and his fans for the support.
