According to Wade, Erin Reagan's daughter will reveal her choice at Frank Reagan's Sunday dinner. Although the EP did not confirm whether Nicky will be choosing to join the force or attend law school, Wade hinted at how the announcement could change the mood at the party. "She announces her decision at a Sunday dinner," Wade said before adding, "I think it will come as a surprise."
There is little doubt that people are already expecting Nicky to choose between law school or the other family tradition of joining the force. But, is it possible that Nicky has other things in mind? There are speculations that Nicky will break tradition by continuing to work for a civil rights organization. That would certainly be a surprise for the Reagan family.
Nicky's decision isn't the only dramatic thing to look forward to in the premiere of Blue Bloods Season 10. The Sunday dinner will also be the first time fans will see Jamie Reagan and Eddie Janko together as newlyweds. Could things already be getting difficult for the couple? Kevin Wade confirms that Frank will be breaking his own rules on the family party by inviting his old partner Lenny Ross to join them. An outsider might not exactly be a welcome thing at the dinner. However, Frank reportedly has his reasons for making an exception when it comes to Lenny.
