Former Kpop stars Jung Joon Young, and F.T. Island's Choi Jonghoon is scheduled for the sixth trial for s*x scandal controversy, wherein five well-known members of the music industry are involved. The hearing is set to tackle the charges of the fifth victim in sexual crimes.

Jung Joon Young has earlier admitted to secretly filming his sexual encounters with at least 10 women and distributing the videos without their knowledge to a secret chat group with fellow Kpop stars. F.T. Island's Jonghoon stands accused of involvement with the gang rape of a woman on at least two occasions in 2016.

Early this year, it was reported that singer-songwriter Jung Joon Young and four other Kpop idols were involved in the recording and distribution of illegally shot videos of women on a chat group. Jung Joon Young has pleaded guilty to all charges during his pretrial hearing held in May, E! reported.

Jung Joon Young has been charged with 11 cases of illegally filming and distributing illegal materials. He has sought to settle with the victims, which could keep him from serving jail time.

F.T. Island's Jonghoon, on the other hand, is facing charges for his participation in the group chat messages and alleged gang rape of a woman on two occasions with four other people who were part of the chat, Jakarta Post reported.

Based on the warrant of his arrest served by the Seoul District Court, there was evidence of sexual assault as well as the possibility of destroying evidence.

Jonghoon has denied the charges of assault but admitted to having drinks with the woman. He stands to receive five years in prison if he is found guilty of the charges during the trial.

According to reports, Jonghoon's lawyer denied that the singer had any plans to rape anyone nor did he have intercourse with the victim while he was unconscious. The former F.T. Island member, however, admitted to filming charges.

Apart from Jung Joon Young and Jonghoon, other Kpop idols who are revealed to be part of the private chat group are former Highlight member Yong Jun Hyung, CNBlue's Lee Jong Hyun, and BIG BANG's Seungri, who is also involved in alleged sex trafficking in his former nightclub called Burning Sun.

All of the five members of the chat group have already announced their departure from the entertainment industry with CNBlue's Lee Jong Hyun being the last to exit last August.
