With how everyone is tangled up with their respective social media accounts, the value of privacy has become naught these days. This case is just one of the many drawbacks of sharing too much information on the internet.
As for its relationship in the entirety of the season's endgame, no one can draw any conclusion yet. It is also worth noting that the new season has yet to reveal the number of episodes that it will cover.
But, reports are hinting that it might follow the 22-episode pattern for the whole season. So, while no further information is given about the show's endgame this season, build-ups are certainly apparent.
