The Conners is back, and so are the family's dramas. After Becky's early-labor ended with the birth of the new member of the clan, the challenges have become much more overwhelming for everyone.
The premiere has shown the viewers how the family supports each other despite all the dramas and tension. But, after Becky named her daughter, Beverly Rose, which are nods to Jackie's mother and Roseanne, Jackie seemed to dislike it. This, of course, puts a fine line between the two characters.
In an interview with TV Line, actress Lecy Goranson, who plays Becky, revealed that there would be tensions and dramas between her and Jackie. Even so, the love between them will still endure in the long run.
With the baby's arrival, Jackie is hinted to help Becky in managing things despite her distaste on the baby's given name. This will show how much Jackie wants to be part of the family.
Becky, on the other hand, will seemingly be in an off-connection to the rest of the Conners as she will try to focus on being a mother.
The synopsis for The Conners Season 2 Episode 2 reveals that she will "doubt" herself as she faces the real struggles of being a single-parent.
Aside from the Becky-Jackie arc, Cartermatt dives further in the details of the upcoming episode. Based on the publication's assertions, Darlene will also face her biggest challenge yet given that she now needs to choose between Ben and David.
It is not revealed yet if she will now make her decisions, but it will certainly play out in the next episode of The Conners.
The A Kiss Is Just A Kiss episode will explore a lot of dramas, problems, and chaos inside the family. But, it seems that the title is much more centered on Mark's arc.
Mark will be in the middle of a huge scandal after a picture of him kissing his boyfriend goes viral. This is a new challenge for the family as not every one of them is open to the idea.
The repercussions of his actions, noting that this happened inside the school, will also be tackled, for sure. Even so, the family will certainly keep up like what they always do.
The Conners Season 2 Episode 2 will air on October 1, on ABC.
