Lee Seung Gi has always been a heartthrob. However, a shower scene in his latest drama Vagabond has elevated his status among female fans because of his fit physique.

According to a report by Soompi, Lee Seung Gi impressed the audience with his toned muscles when he appeared in the shower scene during the second episode of Vagabond, where he channeled a dark and brooding action hero.

While he appeared confident in the dramatic scene, things were quite different when SBS released the behind the scenes video of the much talked about scene. In the BTS, Lee Seung Gi appeared quite comfortable and cheerful when he arrived on the set in Paju, Gyeonggi province. When it came time for the actor to remove his shirt, he changed his mood and obviously became embarrassed in front of the production crew.

When he started to become nervous as they shot the shower scene, the crew showed their support for him so he may be able to pull off the complex emotions he needed to project for the moment.

Lee Seung Gi has earlier expressed thankfulness for his co-workers in the drama, saying that their support and encouragement has been helpful to his delivery of his role, which carries heavy expectations because of the magnitude of budget and effort involved in filming the drama.

It has been reported that, in order to deliver a world class spy action drama, SBS invested 25 billion won (US$21 million) for the production of Vagabond.

Both Lee Seung Gi and his co-star Suzy Bae have received rave reviews for their portrayal in the first episode of the action drama. Audiences who watched the pilot episode praised the pair for the wealth of emotions that they were able to convey for their characters, All Kpop reported

For their part, production company Celltrion Entertainment expressed confidence in Lee Seung Gi's ability to propel the drama to new heights because of his professionalism and drive.

According to representatives of Celltrion, Lee Seung Gi has impressed everyone involved in the production of Vagabond because of his hard work and passion for his character. They teased that the actor will show a lot more sides as the story moves forward.

Vagabond is the second collaboration between Lee Seung Gi and Suzy Bae after Gu Family Book. The spy drama airs Fridays and Saturdays on SBS and is also available on the streaming platform Netflix.
