In an interview with series creator Jesse Armstrong, he told Entertainment Weekly Succession is not the kind of show that should go on forever. The title itself has set up a question that needed to be answered eventually. "So, I wouldn't say that it should go on forever, but we certainly haven't run out of ideas when we've met in the writers' room so far," he explained.
As early as now, there are already questions about who will run Waystar Royco. Although it is still too early to tell, a non-Roy family member, Rhea (Holly Hunter) has managed to get an approval from the patriarch CEO Logan Roy (Brian Cox).
According to Vogue, some root for the recent favorite Shiv (Sarah Snook) to inherit the business. But, if Rhea continues to show good performance in Succession Season 3, it is not far that she will handle the company.

It can't be denied that Kendall and the other member of the ruling class have power, money, and self-determination, but they don't know how to escape themselves, per Vox. This theme is what said to make Succession a success and the best TV drama of the year. It profoundly shows that nobody can escape their selves. Succession Season 3 is yet to be in the works, but it may probably be seen in 2020 on HBO.
