The newest season of The Goldbergs just kicked off a few days ago. Season 7 started with a memorable vacation in Disneyland.

The rest of the family decided that it will be suitable considering that Erica and Barry will be back for college soon. So, before the two teens leave for school, a great vacation ender is a must.

Nothing much has happened with the plot. It's the usual 80's era for the family, which will pretty much continue for the rest of the season.

In a scoop made by Express UKThe Goldbergs Season 7 will have a total of 24 episodes. It's more than what the previous installments housed since the usual is 23.

Per the heads, this is a milestone that needs celebrating given that it's now unusual for television shows to have 24 episodes. Also, each episode is revealed to last for more than half an hour.

Aside from Erica and Barry going back to college, no further details have been shared about the plot of The Goldbergs Season 7 and fans are seemingly okay with it. Besides, plot predictions do not make huge impacts on comedy sitcoms.

For years, the show has been faithful to its usual dynamic. According to reports, this is what made the show successful over its course. While the talks of series conclusion are already evident for some, it is hinted that the show may have two more seasons.

The cast members revealed that the success of the sitcom is undeniable. Even today, after airing over 141 episodes, the viewership ratings continue to show a stable trend. This is why the show will more likely receive new season orders after the current one.

While there will be no big change this season, The Goldbergs Season 7 is the first installment where Adam Goldberg is not the showrunner. Per TV Insider, creator and showrunner Adam Goldberg stepped down from the position a few months ago. Chris Bishop took charge and continued the course of the Adam Goldberg-based comedy sitcom.

It has not been revealed to the public as to why he left. But, he will still write episodes for the new season. And possibly return when the show gets another renewal.

The Goldbergs Season 7 Episode 2 titled, Dana's Back, will air on October 2, on ABC.
