It seems that BTS is not yet done with picking up nominations from international awards this year as the group picked up nods for three categories in the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Based on the announcement of MTV EMA, BTS has been nominated for the Best Collaboration category for Boy with Luv featuring Halsey. The Kpop idol group is pitted against Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for Old Town Road; Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus for Nothing Breaks Like a Heart; Rosalia and J Balvin for Con Altura; Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello for Señorita, and The Chainsmokers featuring Bebe Rexha for Call You Mine, All Kpop reported.
BTS also picked up a nomination for the Best Live category where they will compete against international powerhouses Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, P!nk and Travis Scott for the honors.
Meanwhile, BTS' ARMY will have to prove they are the biggest fans in the world against Ariana Grande's Arianators, fans of Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift for the Biggest Fans category.
It can be recalled that BTS took the win in four categories of the Teen Choice Awards this year. Apart from bagging the award for Best International Artist and Best Fandom for the second year in a row, RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook picked up the prize for Choice Collaboration for Boy with Luv and Choice Summer Tour for BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.
BTS was also nominated for four categories and picked up two wins at the MTV Video Music Awards. BTS became the first winner for the new Best KPop category of the VMAs and beat out 5 Seconds of Summer, Backstreet Boys, BLACKPINK, CNCO, Jonas Brothers, PRETTYMUCH and Why Don't We for the Best Group category.
RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook dominated the win for Best Social Artist and the Best Duo/Group for the Billboard Music Awards 2019.
BTS also stepped up their game as they became the first KPop artists to present an award at the 61st Grammy Awards early this year. RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook arrived at the red carpet looking dapper in tuxes and came face to face with H.E.R. when they announced her win for the Best R&B Album.
The group seemed quite comfortable among international stars who were present at the Grammys and dropped hints on their dream collaborations which included H.E.R, Scott and Lady Gaga.
"There could be a collaboration song and some joint songs, we don't know, we're working on it," Jimin said in an interview for the Grammys.
