Total Divas Season 9 premiere episode has introduced Ronda Rousey as the newest member of the reality series. As the 32-year-old wrestler wants to make history and the show's girl power is now stronger, the second episode will continue the theme of women empowerment.
"Carmella's new relationship is exposed and implicated as an affair; Sonya wins back her ex-girlfriend just in time to celebrate Pride where Sonya will be featured on her very own float," Total Divas Season 9 Episode 2 official synopsis read. "Natalya seeks to live on in her dad's legacy."
By the looks of it, the second episode will be about relationships and legacy. Sonya will happily celebrate the Pride month with her own float and back on her lover's arms. Natalya, on the other hand, is the daughter of the 1980s to 1990s wrestling star Jim Neidhart, from whom she evidently inherited her talent and bravery.
But, as Jim died last year due to traumatic brain injury, Natalya wanted to live on in his dad's legacy. Although she has been doing it since she joined WWE, she promised to live with it in Total Divas Season 9 Episode 2.
Talking about their return, Natalya told HollywoodLife people must continuously support the show because it is "very relatable." In the ring, fans can see them strong and unstoppable, but in real life, they are just any other normal girls. She even commends her fellow cast members for showing their vulnerable side on TV and promises viewers will also see the same with the new addition, Rousey.
Before Rousey joined WWE, she has made a name in the UFC world. However, nobody knows her personality. So, fans are up to know more about her in Total Divas Season 9. Although Rousey likes her life to be privately concealed, Natalya, Carmella, and Sonya teased, it would be the front and center of the show.
Viewers are about to see a lot of her home life with husband Travis Browne, and it is something that no one expects. "I think people will be very intrigued to see how she lives," Sonya teased. "She's definitely different than all of us in terms of her lifestyle, so you'll see a whole different dynamic when it comes to that."
Fans will see more of Rousey and the rest of the gang in Total Divas Season 9 Episode 2, "All is Fair in Love and War," on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 10/9c on E! Network.
