Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2 is almost here, and there will be a fight, as well as tension within this episode. Here's what viewers can expect in the upcoming episode, titled "Naughty or Nice."
There will be another family dinner scene with the Reagans in Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2. However, Erin and Frank will fight in here, which stems from some problems outside the family. Both of them are dealing with issues related to what the DA's office is doing in regards to cops.
They are evaluating Erin and Frank based on their reliability -- something that the latter isn't appreciating. For Frank, he likely thinks that they aren't getting a fair shake by doing this. The fight between these two characters started amid a conversation about sports, particularly how Sean would react to prominently playing baseball.
The conversation eventually leads to Erin talking about her competitive history, and that most of the Reagans think she's the most competitive in the family. Then, she said her stubborn-when-losing nature comes from Frank.
However, this didn't go well to him, which leads him to say Erin is bringing something outside dinner to the dinner table. The fight between Erin and Frank has started to heat up in the previous season, especially after Erin got her new position.
Aside from Erin and Frank's fight in Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2, there's also tension between Eddie and Jamie within this episode. Eddie was frustrated because her husband was chosen to take part in a decoy operation instead of her -- even though she put more effort into it and Jamie didn't.
Eddie thought that this would be a great opportunity for her to showcase her skills, but that didn't happen. Within this episode, she would vocalize some of her frustrations over her status, particularly when it comes to the optics of the case.
Eddie's frustrations likely started based on the events that happened in the series last year. For instance, Jamie ran in and stopped a decoy operation before Eddie could get hurt. However, the last thing that she wants is not to be a damsel in distress because she simply knows she's not.
Eddie does not want to have that kind of reputation in the precinct and her job. She knows that she didn't go to the police to feel protected and, instead, she wants to be the one doing the protecting. Eddie believes she can do it, and she wants everyone to see what she can do.
Blue Bloods season 10 episode 2 will air on Friday, October 4, on CBS.
