Nate and Steel's relationship in Power Rangers Beast Morphers is one of the most integral aspects of the show. While the characters on their own have something to offer in the series' course, viewers seemingly missing something out.

In the previous installments, Nate created Steel while he was held captive by Blaze and Roxy. Primarily, he was intended to contain Evox. Luckily for the crew, Nate was able to stop his plans.

Upon stopping the devilish plans, Steel became the Silver Beast Morpher Ranger. He is now a Beast bot, which is also a half-human as he shared DNA with Nate.

Steel's growth into becoming a ranger is one of the pivotal moments of Power Ranger Beast Morphers. But, little did most fans know, there is more to Nate's and Steel's storylines.

According to Den of Geek, the Real Steel episode has shown the deeper side of the characters' relationship. As it happened, Nate intentionally created Steel for him to become his brother.

It is only logical why Nate would feel alone. Although the previous courses did not entirely center on his loneliness as he seemed comfortable being inside his lab, his neediness to have a companion to connect with still made total sense.

The rest of the Rangers sure supported Nate in his endeavors. However, there is still something lacking. He thought that Steel would fill this "void."

This is why it surprised him that much when Steel always "challenged" him instead of validating him. It had become more apparent when Nate reacted "harshly" to Steel's interests in playing basketball with Devon.

His reaction in the previous episode of Power Rangers Beast Morphers only proved that this specific moment reminded Nate of his flaws. But while feeling emotional after the incident, a redeeming moment has been shown in the middle of the course.

Den of Geek asserted that this had become a very "touching" and moving moment between Nate and Steel. This reminded Nate that Steel sees him as a perfect individual.

The apparent yet quick conflict between the two became a point of character development between the supposed ranger brothers. Per reports, it is one of the moments that Power Ranger Beast Morphers has shown to its viewers.

Even so, many critics still criticized the episode for its lack of engagement. But, fans have remained positive and hopeful that the series will continue its character development processes considering that it gave more color and tone to its characters.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will return for a new episode titled, Tuba Triumph, on October 12, on Nickelodeon.
