Jennifer Aniston has set the record straight about her stand on having a baby. However, there are still rumors that she has a "secret daughter" with former husband, Brad Pitt, and the alleged lady is now out of hiding.
A tabloid's cover of the week featured a questionable headline about Aniston, Jen's Daughter Out of Hiding, and a photo of a teenage girl and a baby that the 50-year-old actress held. It also had an article titled Brad & Jen's Secret Daughter. So, what's the truth about it?
The truth is, the baby Aniston was holding was the 17-year-old actress Cali Sheldon, who, along with her twin sister, played Rachel's baby on Friends. Sheldon shared the picture that the phony publication used to honor the iconic show's 25th anniversary.
The magazine acknowledged Sheldon and her sister only played Aniston's baby onscreen, but it still contended that having a daughter on TV inspired Aniston to want to have a baby with Pitt when they were still married. An alleged source said it was her experience at work that made them desperate to start a family of their own. "Jennifer used to come home from filming and holding baby 'Emma' all day, feeling really broody, and she and Brad were talking about babies constantly," the insider added.
The tipster continued to say Aniston and Pitt got so fond of Sheldon that they already treated her "like their secret daughter." According to GossipCop, the whole article is questionable itself for not acknowledging Sheldon's twin sister, who also played as Rachel's baby on Friends. The tabloid also used the name "Emma," which was the twin sisters' character on the show.
Aniston has been repeating herself about her stand on having a baby. She previously told Elle she never feels the void for not having a kid and being divorced twice. She, then, said her marriages to Pitt and Justin Theroux were both successful, and their separation was the choice they made because they wanted to be happy.
"We live in a society that messages women: By this age, you should be married; by this age, you should have children. That's a fairy tale. That's the mold we're slowly trying to break out of," she explained. Aniston went on to say having children is "frightening." Although some people are naturally built to become wives and have babies, she has no idea how it will come to her.
