It seems only yesterday when the world welcomed the birth of the Cambridge children, Prince George in 2013, and Princess Charlotte in 2015. Now that they are growing up real fast, their mom, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, recently shared some interesting tidbits about what they are like to show how their personalities are developing.
While on a visit to the Aga Khan Centre to prepare for their trip to Pakistan on Oct. 14, Duchess Kate shared that she's looking forward to trying authentic Middle Eastern food because she loves curry. The duchess said that she would often cook curry at home for the family, but she would have to portion the servings with spice or no spice.
Duchess Kate also said that while Prince William prefers mildly spiced curry, she and Princess Charlotte usually like theirs quite hot. The mom of three shared that Princess Charlotte can take the heat better than her father, the future king.
Princess Charlotte also apparently loves preparing dishes in the kitchen with her mother. While the Cambridge kids love pasta with extra cheesy sauce, the four-year-old budding chef enjoys making the sauce with flour, milk, and butter.
The royal also has an unusual favorite snack for someone her age. Duchess Kate said Princess Charlotte's loves munching on olives.
If Princess Charlotte loves to hang around the kitchen and learn about cooking food, Prince George, on the other hand, is passionate about sports and the outdoors. This was recently clearly demonstrated when the third in line to the British throne enthusiastically cheered for team Aston Villa at a soccer game that even his father couldn't nudge him to calm down.
In 2015, when Prince George was barely two, Prince William expressed that he would one day love it if he could take his son to a soccer game. It looks like there will be more of this kind of family bonding time with father and son in the future.
When Prince George celebrated his sixth birthday last July, Duchess Kate and Prince William released a photo where he wore the team uniform. Reports stated that he had a sports-themed birthday party with a small group of friends and family.
The third Cambridge child, Prince Louis, may still be too young to show some personality. However, Duchess Kate said that her one-year-old loves smelling flowers in their garden. Like big brother George, he also apparently enjoys being outdoors.
