Biographer and investigative journalist Tom Bower, who has written several unauthorized life stories of famous people including Mohamed Al-Fayed, is said to be working on a book about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. Sources close to the duchess and Prince Harry believe that this tell-all book will make her "very anxious" as Bower's plans have been compared to an executioner sharpening his weapons.

Bower confirmed to the Daily Mail that he is working on Duchess Meghan's biography next.  However, he refused to get into details about what readers might expect since he's still working on his current book, an unauthorized biography of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The author spoke about Duchess Meghan in the past, while sitting as a guest on Good Morning Britain on ITV. He said that Prince Harry's wife does not deserve any privacy despite the couple's pleas for respecting their private time.

Bower also views Duchess Meghan as someone trying to be Princess Diana, Prince Harry's mother. If she is trying to adopt this role, Bower predicted that it could end in the same tragic way unless the Palace intervenes.

Somehow, Bower's observation is in line with Prince Harry's sentiment when he launched his legal action against three news outlets in recent weeks. The Duke of Sussex said that he is taking a stand after watching history repeating itself with the way the press treated his mother before and his wife today.

Prince Harry said that he lost his mom to the same "power forces" that have laid out a ruthless campaign against his wife. Experts said that Prince Harry's opinion of the British press comes from a perspective of a child who lost his mother after being hounded by the paparazzi.

In 2017, Prince Harry spoke in a BBC documentary about the role of the paparazzi in the death of Princess Diana. He said that he has a hard time coming to terms with the people who chased after her mother at a tunnel where she had her accident, as they were also the same people who took photos of her "dying on the backseat" of her car.

While Duchess Meghan isn't hounded by the press in the same way, she has been receiving negative stories from British journalists. However, some believe that she could handle the stuff written about her because she is used to the attention of a former Hollywood celebrity.

Meanwhile, Bower is also credited for writing the "Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion, and Defiance of Prince Charles." In it, he wrote that the heir to the throne had outrageous orders while traveling, as did his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
